As our Annual State Convention approaches I reflect on my last year as your commander. We have made legislative progress toward providing veterans with further medical care, expanded our marketing to educate veterans on their earned benefits and provided a community for veterans looking for support and a safe place to go after service. I am proud of all the hard work and dedication you have put into this great organization. I look forward to celebrating this year's accomplishments with you at our State Convention next month, and looking forward into the future for helping our Nation's veterans. Call to Action: Honoring Our PACT Act
The PACT Act will be making moves on the Senate level this summer. VFW National is asking that veterans contact their senators and ask them to support the bill. The PACT Act is a piece of legislation which will provide more inclusive health care for veterans who were exposed with toxins during their deployments. This will include toxins like agent orange, burn pits and other chemicals.
