Fort Street, Detroit, MI, 48209 Comments The VFW Riders Group will organize a Day of Service event on May 11, 2024, to clean old headstones belonging to the Veterans at the Woodmere Cemetery. The Flat Rock Post and the Flat Rock Post Auxiliary members will join the Riders for this event. It's worth noting that some Veterans laid to rest at Woodmere Cemetery are from the Civil War era and were initially buried in Detroit's Fort Wayne.
