Going Strong: 100 Year Milestones for DAV
Disabled American Veterans (DAV) has been making strides in protecting the rights and changing needs of Veterans for almost 100 years. In January, DAV staff hosted a surprise party to help local volunteer Harlan Plummer celebrate his 100th birthday in style. Plummer, a retired World War II (WWII), Korea, and Vietnam Veteran has spent an impressive 11,000 lifetime hours volunteering with DAV. With nearly 1,300 chapters and more than 1 million members across the country, DAV offers a wide range of opportunities for you to get involved.
